  I'm a Christian speaker and I was asked to speak for Centerpoint's fall women's retreat where I was introduced to this body of people who are set-out to reach the non church type of people. They chose me as a speaker because of my transparency, that's what they are into.
  
  I went to a service ahead of the event to see what they were about and I was amazed at how professional this small church was. Professional with sound and decor and ability to offer what big churches offer, but still free of the bureaucracy you find at a big church.
  
  I felt God leading me to go there but I was in no way in the market to switch churches, and besides i was on an important committee that I was committed to among other things. Truly it would be hard for me to leave the music at my church also. When I left my i pad at Centerpoint after my talk and had to go Sunday morning to get it, I discovered that the music at Centerpoint is excellent too.
  
  When a friend was getting baptized there recently i wanted to go and they were starting a series on Sex, Love and Dating and i found myself wanting to complete the series so I started going to 2 churches. When I realized I needed to leave my husband and felt like my truth was invisible to some leaders at my church Centerpoint was true tot their mission. They did not question my knowledge of the Bible or my integrity as a woman of God but rather reached out into my pain, like all churches should.
  
  I am thankful for this transparent nonjudgmental body of believers. I am thankful God gave me a place to feel safe and not shamed. If you are looking to look like a church goer, not really for you, itf you are looking to looking like a human who loves Jesus or is wondering what that's all about, or if you are just a human looking for a place to feel accepted Centerpoint is for you.

  This church is so different from any other church I have ever walked into. You can feel the sense of family with your first steps in the door. It is not just a family, but a family looking for more members to join in a journey back to God. This is the church you are looking for, if you need a safe haven and someone to guide you to the oasis. Stop by, sit down and pray for a while.
